The Impossible Dream! M H Ranch offers Breeding Packages that offer the opportunity of your dreams. During the past 20 years Ron & Barb, have enjoyed the life style that rates second to none. The Miniature Horse allows a family to relate to the equine industry in such a way that all of the Family enjoys. Less danger, more exposure, responsibility, and on & on are enjoyed, so as to maintain a healthy family environment. In 2002, Ron had another feature of this life style; he had a Miniature Replica of a Wells Fargo Stagecoach built and plans on promoting Miniatures throughout the Midwest. Because of this added feature, he would like to allow for more time away from the Ranch, and that is why M H Ranch will offer on a first come, first serve basis, a plan that will, if done correctly, pay for itself. Of course the plan offers miniature horses that if purchased individually would cost as much as 50% higher.
The packages, could include Ten Mature Breedable Mares, Two Stallions, (One Mature & One Younger) One Gelding, green broke to drive. Included in our Package will be guidance from the Ranch, and hopefully pass on 20 years of lessons learned that might help reduce time and money. If buyer follows guidelines and maintains an average of 80% live foal ratio for foaling, this plan should pay for itself and reimburse you for all efforts within 5 years. Of course, whenever a live animal is involved and all the responsibilities included, M H Ranch cannot and doesn’t imply that this plan is failure proof. M H Ranch, in no way guarantee’s the plan, but based on our 20 years of this life style and a 80% live foal or better ratio during each foaling season, and your selling each foal can allow this plan to work. The average plan would require a Minimal down payment (depending on selected horses), Insurance requirements, and interest (to be determined at time of the contract). All horses would be on an Installment Note Sale with Title remaining in Holder. All foals born would inherit an M H Ranch Prefix and if sold applied to Sale. None of original Package can be sold until total package is paid for and ownership has transferred. Sales tax of 5% will apply unless you supply M H Ranch with a tax-exempt number. Breeding Packages Ten (10) Mares, One (1) Mature Stallion, One (1) Young Stallion of a different Bloodline, and One (1) Gelding, Green broke to pull a cart. Average Price $30,000.00 to $35,000.00 We can arrange for payments over as many years as to make a $500.00 per month total cost to you, including your insurance payments required. On average, if successful and an 80% Live Foal ratio is maintained with 50% colts and 50% fillies, your package could earn $12,000.00 to $15,000.00 per year. That means you could possibly have total package pay for itself in two to three years. Of course M H Ranch makes no guarantees, or implies that you will not have to work and pay attention, but on average most owners do and success can be achieved.
